Elijah Wood

Biography

Elijah Wood is a multi-talented celebrity, hailing from the US.

Throughout his colourful career in the spotlight, Elijah has turned his hand to acting, DJing and even producing. He is perhaps most recognised as Frodo Baggins, in Peter Jackson’s remake of J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic trilogy: The Lord of The Rings. Elijah appeared in The Fellowship of The Ring, The Two Towers and The Return Of The King.

Ever since he was a young boy, Elijah has been acting in feature-length films. By the time he was just 9, he was nominated for many Young Artist Awards. Around this time, he was appearing in films like Avalon, Paradise, Radio Flyer, Forever Young, The Adventures of Huck Finn and The Good Son.

Once Elijah hit his teens, he started to get roles in the likes of North, The War, Flipper, The Ice Storm, Deep Impact and The Faculty. After the huge successes of Lord of the Rings, Elijah was propelled into international stardom. Offers began rolling in and he consequently started to appear in a much wider variety of films; some of these included Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sin City, Green Street, Everything Is Illuminated, Paris, Je t’aime, Bobby, Celeste and Jesse Forever, Maniac, Grand Piano, The Last Witch Hunter, The Trust and I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore.

In 2005, he established his own record label, called Simian Records.
