Geoff Shreeves

Biography

Hailing from St Albans, Hertfordshire, Geoff Shreeves is an experienced and talented reporter for various channels including two of the UK’s biggest sports broadcasters: Sky Sports and Fox Sports.
He can be seen on the touch-line for many key football matches on Sky Sports, most notably during UEAFA Champions League and Ford Super Sunday live games. Before Champions League games, Geoff reports from the sidelines on Fox Sports.
Shreeves’ first job at a sports network was during the 1992 season of The Premiership. Geoff worked his way up from his role as a booker and eventually produced ‘The Football Show’, a much-loved football discussion programme. When Sky signed a deal giving them the right to broadcast live football, Geoff’s skills became instrumental. He acted as Sky’s eyes and ears on the field in a producing capacity until 1999, when he made his debut as a reporter alongside Clare Tomlinson to cover the Premier League and the FA Cup.
Geoff is also well-known for his voiceover work in the FIFA video game series. From FIFA 13 onwards, Shreeves can be heard responding to every player injury. His contributions are loved by many for their no-nonsense nature, and the fact that he seems to dismiss every injury with the phrase “he should be alright.”
