Biography

Jeremy Piven is a Golden Globe-winning actor, comedian and producer known for his central role in the highly successful, long-running HBO series Entourage. Focusing on the fortunes of an A-list Hollywood star, Entourage ran for eight seasons, drawing millions of viewers and racking up numerous accolades – including several Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for Piven’s contributions. He delighted audiences as the acerbic Ari Gold, a fast-talking, perpetually vexed super-agent. One of the show’s best-loved characters, the role earned Piven four consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor.

Entourage wrapped up in 2011, drawing over three million viewers for its finale, and spawning a successful movie adaptation. Piven went on to play the titular role in ITV’s Mr. Selfridge, a dramatization of the life of Harry Selfridge, creator of the high-end London department store. Piven has also appeared in several successful films, including Grosse Pointe Blank, Singles, The Family Man, Black Hawk Down, The Kingdom, Heat, Rock N Rolla, Serendipity, Smokin’ Aces, and Runaway Jury. He has also made cameo appearances in Rush Hour 2 and Cars. Piven has recently turned his talents to stand-up comedy, embarking on a successful tour across the U.S. and Canada.
