Paul Reiser

Biography

Paul Reiser is a jack-of-all-trades within the entertainment business, having experience as a comedian, actor, television writer, author, and musician. Though he was voted one of Comedy Central’s “Top 100 Comedians of All Time”, Reiser is also known for his portrayals of Michael Taylor in the ’80s sitcom My Two Dads, Paul Buchman in Mad About You, Carter Burke in the 1986 film Aliens, alongside a supporting role in the Beverly Hills Cop series.

Reiser has also produced the Hulu series There’s…. Johnny!, taking audiences on a fictional journey behind the scenes of the iconic ’70s late night show, stirring nostalgia for Johnny Carson fans. More recently, Reiser featured in season two of the critically acclaimed Netflix series Stranger Things, taking on the role of Dr. Owens.

A graduate from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a degree in Music, Reiser used his musical talents to co-write “The Final Frontier”, the theme song from Mad About You, alongside Grammy-winning producer Don Was. In 2011, he even released a collaborative album with British singer Julia Fordham.

Reiser is currently acting in action-comedy series The Spy Who Dumped Me alongside Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon. His recent films include War on Everyone, The Book of Love, and The Little Hours.
