Rageh Omaar is a world renowned reporter and correspondent who has worked in many intense situations around the world. One of the most recognised and respected in his field, Rageh is the International Affairs Editor of ITV News in the UK, a programme that regularly pulls in a daily audience of around 8 million people. He has one of the highest profiles of any British journalist thanks to his long and storied career and has worked as a presenter for the BBC as well as Al Jazeera English, offering eye witness reports and feature length documentaries that have been shown in more than 180 countries around the world.
Some of the huge world events he has covered over the years include the likes of the Balkan Wars, the Afghanistan invasion, the impeachment of American President Bill Clinton and more recently the Arab Spring Uprisings.
