Sarah Rafferty

Biography

American actress Sarah Rafferty is best known for her characterisation of Donna Roberta Paulsen, appearing in the USA Network legal drama Suits. Rafferty credits her mother for getting her into acting at a young age, as she was the Chairwoman of the English Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart school. Her character in Suits is one of the most formidable minds at the law firm, admired and feared by everyone there and not afraid to wield that power when it suits her.

Next to Suits, Rafferty has starred in a number of films such as Mambo Cafe in 2000, Soccer Dog: European Cup in 2004 and The Devil Wears Prada in 2006. The likes of Four Single Fathers and Small, Beautifully Moving Parts have been more recent showings and on TV she remains a popular choice. Next to Suits she has been in Bones, Brothers & Sisters, Samantha Who and Law & Order. Aside from her acting work, Rafferty also has plenty of time for charitable causes, working for the Alzheimer’s Association and The Brain Project. She has also hosted Night at Sardi’s, a yearly event held in LA that benefits the support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. One of the most notable figures in the modern entertainment industry, Sarah Rafferty is a talented actress who can lend plenty of character to any role she takes on.
