Andy Goode

Biography

Talented rugby professional Andy Goode is an all time leading point scorer who has lead by example throughout his career. For anyone looking to inspire young audiences or have one of the best sportsmen of his generation represent them or their brand, Goode is fine choice. He has played at the centre most of his life and has represented England at U18 then U21 level before 56and then joining Leicester Tigers. At that time they were the leading side and despite this Andy soon made an impact. With them he won four successive Premiership titles and also won two Heineken Cup winners medals in 2001 and 2002.

His consistent performances on the pitch earned him nominations for Zurich Player of the Season 2004-2005 and the PRA Players’ Player of the Year. Back in 2004-2005 56the club also honoured Andy as their ‘Player Of The Season’. As well as being great at domestic level, Goode also played for England in the backs and made a big impact with his boot. In March 2008, Goode became the all-time leading points scorer in the English Premiership, overtaking Jonny Wilkinson. Andy has also played rugby Wasps and London Irish as well as Worcester Warriors, and is one of a select group of players to have played Super 15 rugby in South Africa.
