Antonio Conte

Biography

One of the best known names in football, as both a player and a manager, Antonio Conte has won a host of the game’s top honours.
The Italian started his playing career at his local club, Lecce, and rose through the ranks to play a pivotal part in the all-conquering Juventus team of the mid 1990s. With Juventus, Conte won no fewer than five Serie A titles and the biggest prize in European football, the Champions League, in 1996. He also won the UEFA Cup, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana and many other honours with this incredibly successful team. Conte also represented his country at both the 1994 World Cup and Euro 2000, finishing as runner up on both occasions.

He returned to Juventus to manage the team in 2011 and led them to three consecutive Serie A titles, before going on to manage the national side from 2014 until his move to Chelsea last season.
As manager of Chelsea, Conte won the Premier League title in his first season, with several games to spare. His Chelsea team won no less than 30 of their 38 games, finishing seven points clear of Tottenham Hotspur and fifteen points clear of third place Manchester City.

Conte has won countless accolades as both player and manager, including numerous Manager of the Year awards at both Chelsea and Juventus.
