Gregory Bourdy

Biography

Gregory Bourdy is one of the most recognisable golfers to hail from France and has won events on the European Tour a number of times. All this makes him a perfect sporting personality to add a great sense of occasion and excitement to any event. He is passionate and well informed and has many tales to tell, as well as being a fine brand ambassador. Gregory’s first ever tour win came back in 2007 when he took the title at the Mallorca Classic. With not a hint of any nerves, he managed to shoot all four rounds in the 60s and this gave him a final lead of two clear shots. Back in 2009 he picked up a trio of titles that included beating the talented Rory McIlroy to win the UBS hong Kong Open by two shots. Other wins include the Estoril Open de Portugal which saw him come out on top of a three way play off and he also won the ISP Handa Wales Open in 2013. A truly constant performer across his whole career, Gregory’s highest ever world ranking was 81st in 2011. Currently hovering around 50th in the race to Dubai rankings, he had another solid season in 2014 and in 2015 picked up plenty of Top 10 finishes in Austria, South Africa, Malaysia and Qatar. Given his achievements on the golf course, there are few more interesting or exciting people to have talk about their life in sport than the hugely talented and personable Gregory Bourdy.
