Jacob Artist

Biography

New York born and raised, dancer Jacob Artist can count himself as one of few to turn down a place at the prestigious Julliard School of Music and Drama. Eager to pursue a career in acting, Artist was cast as William McKinley High student Jake Puckerman in teen-hit series Glee in 2012, after making impressive appearances in Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, Melissa & Joey, sci-fi drama After Dark and mystery thriller White Bird in a Blizzard.

With a commanding stage presence, Artist was given the opportunity to take on a compelling role in crime drama series Quantico, playing Brandon Fletcher, a former Quantico recruit turned FBI agent that uses tenacity, wit and diligence to succeed in a demanding and merciless work environment. Artist followed this with a guest appearance in widely acclaimed 2011 dramatic horror series American Horror Story, portraying Todd Connors.

Artist went on to appear in six episodes of 2017 Hollywood TV series The Arrangement before landing a lead role in 2018 American frat-movie Haunting on Fraternity Row. He can more recently be seen in comedy series Now Apocalypse, starring alongside Avan Jogia and Kelli Berglund in the leading role.
