Nominated for four Oscars, Damon won Best Original Screenplay in 1998 for his breakout film Best Original Screenplay. He has also taken home two Golden Globes, been nominated for three BAFTAs and six Emmy awards.
Damon is known for high-profile roles in countless Hollywood hits. He has appeared in such iconic pictures as Saving Private Ryan, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Dogma, Syriana and The Departed, as well as more contemporary films The Martian and Manchester by the Sea, for which he received an Oscar nomination as producer.
