Max Thieriot

Biography

Californian born and raised, Max Thieriot began his acting career after joining an improvisation class and modelling for GAP. Making his big-screen debut opposite Kristen Stewart in 2004 children’s action movie Catch That Kid, he went on to land a rolein hit comedy The Pacifier, starring Vin Diesel before playing a younger Hayden Christensen in 2008 blockbuster Jumper.

Continuing to act in movies such as The Astronaut Farmer and Nancy Drew, Thieriot enjoyed a growing profile throughout the ’00s that led him to star alongside Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried and Julianne Moore in the dramatic thriller Chloe (2009). His performance in Chloe led to even bigger things, with lead roles in movies My Soul To Take, Family Tree and Foreverland landing on his doorstep. He has since shared the screen with stars such as Jennifer Lawrence in House at the End of the Street, Bill Paxton in Texas Rising, before acting in the critically acclaimed 2015 picture Point Break.

More recently, Thieriot has been applauded for his role in renowned 2017 drama SEAL Team, in addition to a lead part in the contemporary horror TV series Bates Motel, a portrayal that earned multiple nominations for Primetime Emmys.
