Milo Ventimiglia

Biography

Milo Ventimiglia is an American actor known for his on-screen roles in successful television shows and critically acclaimed independent movies. Born in Anaheim, California, Ventimiglia first appeared on WB’s much-loved Gilmore Girls, moving on to NBC’s American Dreams and then Bedford Diaries, an exploration of NYC college life. His breakthrough role came in 2006, when he was tapped to play Peter Petrelli in the NBC sci-fi drama series Heroes.

Since his mainstream debut, Ventimiglia has enjoyed a successful acting career, appearing in both studio and independent movies such as Pathology, The Divide, Killing Season and Grace of Monaco. His latest success was a central role in NBC’s 2016 series This Is Us, a heartstring-tugging family drama that earned him two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and a SAG Award for the entire cast.

Behind the camera, Ventimiglia has acted as producer and director for several successful television series. He is the co-founder of Divide Pictures, a film and television entertainment production company established in 2003, producing a number of successful web series and working with SyFy, NBC and FX. Ventimiglia is a committed philanthropist, working with the charity Veterans of America to assist those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
