OJ Borg

Biography

OJ Borg is a broadcaster, filmmaker, TV, radio host and owner of an original old school Amstrad CPC-464 personal computer with a colour screen. Borg got his start presenting travel and traffic news on the radio, but he quickly stood out due to his love for sports and all things electronic. Borg’s completely authentic and quirky personality, coupled with his love for electronic sports, opened the doors for OJ to work on numerous TV and Radio shows over the years. He has done some extreme gadget testing for Gizmodo on BBC America, hosted shows for ESL, presented the Lottery on BBC1 and he is the post-fight interviewer for BAMMA broadcasting live on Channel 5 to name a few of his on-air projects. In 2011, he appeared on Celebrity Mastermind on BBC1 where he chose Star Wars as his specialist subject. He racked up 21 points, finishing third all while dressed in full Princess Leia costume. OJ lists some of his other major achievements as having not mortally offended anyone in the eSports world (yet), never getting beaten on Speedball 2 and trying to teach his dog Lebowski Spanish. Presently OJ Borg can be found hosting the Playlist Shows for Radio 2, Bespoke on 5Live, Rock & Roll Football on Absolute Radio & The Bridge on Ginx TV as well as building up some of the biggest eSports venues around the world. You can also find Borg spending his off time surfing badly and snowboarding even worse with a smile on his face.
