Paul Wallace

Biography

During his time regarded as one of the finest props to play the game, rugby international Paul Wallace is now an in-demand guest speaker who talks on a range of motivational topics including Mental Toughness and Preparing For Success. In his club career, Paul turned out for Munster, Blackrock, Saracens and Leinster and earned 48 international Test caps having debuted in the 1995 World Cup against Japan in Bloemfontein alongside his older brother Richard in a 50-28 win.
It was his great understanding of the so-called dark arts of the scrum that stood Paul apart in his career, with one of the highlights coming during the Lions’ series victory against South Africa in 1997. He proudly started all three Tests on this now legendary tour and proved himself to be an indispensible member of the team.
Having overcome a broken ankle, Paul fought back to full fitness – something that gives him great experiences on which to draw when inspiring your audiences at conferences, sports dinners, award ceremonies and more. Post rugby, Paul has worked as a pundit for Sky and ITV during the World Cup in 2007 and is also a regular writer for the Daily Mail and Rugby World magazine as well as Today FM’s The Last Word.
