Quincy Jones needs no introduction. This iconic artist, musician, and composer has established himself as one of American music’s most legendary figures over a career that’s spanned six decades, countless accolades and the release of hundreds of albums. Jones’ achievements are almost too numerous to mention: he’s worked with almost every titan from 20th century music, from Miles Davis to Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, earning a record 79 Grammy nominations, 27 Grammys and a coveted Grammy Legend Award.

Jones began his career as a trumpeter and composer, arranging for giants of the jazz world Duke Ellington, Ray Charles and Cannonball Adderley before moving on to work in pop music and film scores.
