Biography

Rachel Stringer is an exciting new talent on the British television circuit. She began her career in 2013 as a researcher for BT Sport, where her engaging personality quickly led to her becoming a regular BT Sport presenter. From there, she was offered opportunities with SportsHub, Women’s Super League football, Conference Football, NBA coverage, and Transfer Deadline Day.

Today, Rachel is a regular reporter for Football Focus on BBC1, where she has the privilege of interviewing some of football’s biggest personalities. She also presents other high-profile sporting events, including the Bennetts British Superbike Championships, ITV’s World of Sport: Wrestling, Strongman Champions League, and ESPN coverage for Aston Villa FC TV.

Rachel’s career reached new heights in 2015 when she made her debut on Match of the Day. This milestone opened the door to even more opportunities, including hosting MOTD Kickabout for CBBC, Kickabout+, and Live@Wimbledon, the official online channel for the Wimbledon Championships.

By 2017, Rachel was presenting major sporting events such as marathons and triathlons for Channel 4, the Tobago International Sea to Sea Marathon, the Emirates FA Cup campaign for FA TV, and the Betway UK Snooker Championships. She also became the main presenter for the 2017 Women’s Hockey World League Semi-Finalists.

In more recent years, Rachel has been involved in the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, showcasing the iconic trophy to fans as it travelled to Russia for the World Cup Finals.
