British pop star Samantha Harvey initially gained a following singing fantastic covers of popular songs on her YouTube channel. She has since signed to Virgin EMI Records and released two phenomenally popular hit singles, making a permanent mark on the music world. Her channel now has over one million subscribers and hosts several independently released singles, including the uplifting ‘Forgive Forget’ and the emotional ‘Please’, alongside covers of current hits, vlogs and style tutorials.
Samantha’s rise to prominence is an inspirational one that saw her build a following on YouTube while still working as a house cleaner. Covers of tracks by artists like Adele, Celine Dion and Little Mix swiftly got her name out there, and before long she racked up over a million fans on her Facebook account. After being spotted by TV researchers, Harvey was enlisted to sing the weather report on Good Morning Britain, which gave her crucial exposure.
