Stuart Broad

Biography

One of the finest bowlers of his generation, Stuart Broad is a key force in the current England Test side. He is an immediately recognisable face who adds real star quality to any event at which he appears. He is also a great and eloquent guest speaker who entertains and educates his audiences with insightful and fascinating guest speeches. Bored was born in Nottingham and is a medium fast paced bowler who stands at over 6ft 6 inches tall. He is an intimidating proscenia with the ball and has played in various Ashes tournaments as well as 84 Tests, 119 One Day Internationals and more than 142 First Class domestic games for the likes of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Kings XI Punjab. Broad has been man of the match in many key English games including the fifth Test of the 2009 Ashes series at the Oval, in which he picked up great figures of 5/37 in the afternoon session of the second day. In August 2006 he was voted the Cricket Writers’ Club Young Cricketer of the Year and in the 2015 Ashes Test series he was again named man of the match in the 4th test. He is no slouch with the bat and has scored over 2000 runs for England as well as taking more than 308 wickets from 17, 500 balls bowled. Broad’s sister Gemma works as a team analyst for England and he has set up his own charity to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease. Stuart Broad is a stand up figure in world cricket and a real asset to any occasion.
