Tara Reid

Biography

Best known for her roles in American Pie & The Big Lebowski, American actress Tara Reid was born in Wyckoff, New Jersey in 1975. She starting off her career by acting in commercials as a child, particularly a high-profile McDonald’s ad. Reid swiftly moved into television where she appeared in Days of Our Lives and later made a cameo in the hit comedy show Scrubs.

She got her big break in 1998 when she landed the role of ‘Bunny’ in the iconic Paul Thomas Anderson film The Big Lebowski. This paved the way for the future of her acting career as she got offered parts in both Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. Reid’s most popular role is still American Pie, which saw her enter a more comedy side of acting which suited her well. The cult classic explored the life and frustrations of American teenagers. She revisited this role in 2012 for the American Pie reunion which was a box office success.

As well as a successful acting career, Reid started a designer clothing line with Christian Audigier called Mantra. The clothing brand hit the shops in 2009 and later she did a feature in Playboy magazine. Moving from the big screen to Reality TV, Tara entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2011 and since then is known as a personality with constant press attention.
